Dr. Maysoon Al Karam serves as the Chief Medical Officer at ADSCC, driven by a passion for enhancing healthcare delivery through a focus on clinical quality and the overall success of patient-centric systems. With a comprehensive understanding of healthcare operations and administrative procedures, she possesses adept administrative skills that have led to successful project leadership and the establishment of impactful relationships.

Dr. Maysoon is a distinguished Ophthalmologist and Medical Retina Specialist, holding an MSc in Clinical Ophthalmology from the University of London (UCL), UK, and completing her Medical Retina Fellowship at the Royal Free Hospital in London. She earned her MBBS, bachelor’s in medicine from Al Ain University, UAE. Additionally, she holds an MSc in Healthcare Management from the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin and is certified by the American Board of Medical Quality (CMQ).

Her professional journey includes serving as the Operation Director for the SEHA Covid-19 Vaccine Phase III Clinical Trial Project at ADNEC and as an extension trial site for Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC). She also held the role of Out-Patient Operation Director at SKMC, overseeing multi-specialty clinics.

Dr. Maysoon’s contributions extend to her role as a board member of The Emirates Society of Ophthalmology, showcasing her extensive medical experience spanning over 18 years.
