Diabetes

ADSCC’s Diabetes program is dedicated to revolutionizing the treatment of Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus. Our focused initiative centers on evaluating the safety and efficacy of Extracorporeal Photopheresis (ECP) in diabetes management. ECP, renowned for its success in immune disorders, involves a process where a patient’s white blood cells are extracted, treated with a specific chemical, and exposed to light before reintroduction into the body. This method aims to regulate the immune response effectively. Widely acknowledged for its effectiveness in conditions like cutaneous T cell lymphoma, graft-versus-host disease, and organ transplant rejection, ECP emerges as a potential breakthrough in diabetes care.
