Dr. Zeshan Riaz trained and worked as a consultant in the UK where he has over 16 years of clinical experience before coming to Abu Dhabi. He qualified from the prestigious University of Southampton in the UK in 2006 and trained in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Southampton University Hospital, Portsmouth University Hospitals, Basingstoke Hospital and Salisbury Foundation trust. He was appointed as a substantive consultant in gastroenterology with Hepatology in 2018 in Portsmouth University Hospital, UK performing high volumes endoscopy procedures and seeing a wide range of complex conditions in patients. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of London, and a GMC (UK) recognized Educational supervisor. He is a trained endoscopy trainer. His special interest has been in advanced endoscopy procedures including ERCPs and stentings. Dr Riaz believes in a holistic approach of treatment which is evidence based and patient centered. He believes in involving patient in the decision making throughout their journey towards health. Dr Riaz practices medicine according to the latest British and European guidelines.
